Drapolene Cream

I have been searching for the best cream for diaper rash as my little one was having this problem for quite some time. He is prone to such because he perspires a lot on that area. So the sweat glands produce there and I also find it hard to look for diapers that will absorb wetness, but makes the skin as dry as possible.

Anyway, not because I have to look and change the diaper, but also I have to find out a cream that will help his skin to not feel irritated. Drapolene cream was advice by my brother so I looked for it in the market and tried.

It was never cheap at all. Most of these anti-diaper rash creams are pretty expensive, but I have to give it a try. It says anti-bacterial and helps even adult skin that was also using adult diapers. Aside from another promise of Drapolene cream that it is good for minor wounds and burns, I am only interested to keep that skin rash away.

It took two days to notice the rash to dry, but it keeps on appearing again after a week. I think that the skin of my son was not fully satisfied for this creams’ solution. Probably Drapolene will work better for prevention and not just for curing process.

Despite the fact that I have changed diapers a lot of times to keep the skin rash go away, this cream would assist me to help solve or stop the skin rash. But sadly, it did not work well for my son. Just don’t take my word for it. Consult your physician or pediatrician first before using this cream. Creams may vary also and will depend based on your child’s skin reaction too. Always be safe than to be sorry.

Sweet Baby Supreme Comfort Diaper

I bought this diaper for my little one because it was just cheap for the price of only $2.94 for 22 pieces. I use this for his day time change because it was just light and not for long use. When it comes to skin protection, it can only hold a regular wee wee for two to three as the maximum absorption level of the diaper.

What I don’t understand is the wetness indicator which does not take effect or change in color even if the diaper is soaked and wet. For me, putting the wetness indicator is useless and the promised protection is a lie because you can’t use it for long hours. So when my baby sleeps at night or we go out, I don’t use this diaper. 

So why did I buy this product? Well, as I have said, if you are just at home and you can attend to your baby and change the diaper after three hours, then this diaper will really save something especially if your budget is really tight. Yes, this is quantity over quality. If you don’t have any budget for a quality diaper, then this is for you.

Good thing using Sweet Baby Supreme Comfort diaper is that your baby’s skin won’t get irritated or diaper rash as the skin gets to breathe easily using this product. But don’t forget that this diaper is not for long usage so after three to four hours, you need to change it.

Ponds’ Acne Clear White Multi-Action Facial Foam Plus Scrub

This is what I have been using for the past three months now ever since I came back in the Philippines for a vacation. I have oily skin with casual breakouts and so I decided to look for a product which will help me solve my skin problem. My niece was using this product and so I tried it and was satisfied because it does help remove excess oil and then it cleans my face thoroughly making it soft and smooth after wash.

The good thing is that this product of Ponds does not leave my skin so dry. It is just mild and gentle to use, especially if you have sensitive skin. The herbal clay inclusions to Ponds Acne clear white is just perfect to absorb the oil and remove it once you rinse off your face.

The best part I can say is that it is affordable and economical which is $1.72 for 50 g tube size. The tube is easy to control that you can really squeeze it all out till the last drop. Facial scrub is just light and you can use this wonderful product on a daily basis without getting your skin irritated as the micro beads included in Pond’s Acne Clear White will be okay to handle it. Although just be gentle on cystic acne as you don’t need to scrub that area.

If I have pimple breakouts, this is the best facial foam and cleanser for me as it will help to remove my pimples in three days, well of course that is because of using this product plus other beauty regimens I use to keep my skin clear. But I can honestly say that Ponds Acne Clear 10-in 1 Facial Foam plus Scrub is the perfect product to keep my skin oil free and pimple free. I highly recommend this product for those who also have issues with skin breakouts and very oily skin.

GlutaMax Light and Tight Feminine Wash

I got curious about trying out Glutamax Light and Tight Feminine wash as it promises a lot.  Obviously, skin lightening was one of it then next would be skin firming, cooling effect, moisturizing the skin and daily protection.

But sad to say that they fail when it comes to cooling sensation and daily protection against itchiness. Anyway, they already said that consult a doctor when skin irritation occurs and such. But maybe skin firming will just take effect if that will be continuous usage for more than a month. Since I am just using the product for two weeks now, I will still give it time to prove about skin firming. But I would say Glutamax kept its promise a bit on the lightening effect and moisturizing the skin.

When it comes to the scent, it is just a general so-so brand, not overpowering, not fruity or floral scented. Just mild and gentle but you will  get annoyed on squeezing the gel out of the bottle as the gel bounces back inside like it got sucked up again. Wish they would do something better about the bottle, maybe a tube is better to keep the product.

The price is just affordable for that 50 ml. bottle which is only $1.55. But I can say that other competitors are cheaper and is also promising the same thing which will give Glutamax a hard time to lead as I think that I may not buy this product again if you ask me. I will just finish my 50 ml. bottle and that’s it.

Tiens Airez Active Oxygen & Negative Ion Panty Liner Review

Tiens or Tienshi Company has come up with a napkin which is not only environment friendly but also safe and effective to women. I have learned this product from my mom who is suggesting me to use it since it is a very good product that combats bacteria or germs in the under garment, good for fighting foul smells or odors especially when a female is having their monthly period and has negative ion.

One pack of Tiens Airiz Active Oxygen and Negative Ion contains 30 pieces of sanitary panty liner. They also have this Day and Night pad made for the purpose of heavy or light flows during menstruation period.

What I like in this panty liner is the eucalyptus scent of the green strip found in the middle portion of the pad which makes the pad breathable and keep me comfortable during 8 hours of work. It keeps me dry and not irritable especially that I am pregnant. It did help me to fight feminine itch as well.

Airiz panty liner pad has 5 layers for protection. It is easy to open because it is individually wrapped and light weight so that you can keep it in your purse or bag or where ever you go, it will be handy. The cost however is a bit pricy compared to other local sanitary pads or panty liners because it speaks quality for itself. If you ask me what is the difference of the ordinary panty liner or sanitary pad from Airez Oxygen and Negative Ion is that it gives comfort to women who suffers PMS and other discomfort during menstruation.

The negative ion is said to be good in our health as it cures us and protects us from the harsh pollution in our environment. But there is also instruction included that if you feel you have allergies of using the pad, just discontinue the use. For me, I don’t see any discomfort or allergic effect so this pad is really created for me. I will also encourage my friends to try and use Airez Active Oxygen and Negative Ion sanitary pad for a healthy reproductive system.

Hubby bought our Olympus VG-120 Red digital camera by ordering online via Letsbuy.com. It is an online shopping site within India which allows you to shop from electronic items, appliances, gadgets such as mobile, computers and other techie stuffs.

We selected Letsbuy.com because we had compared the prices of digital camera that we opted to buy and during those times, it was the cheapest offer so we decided to place an order and pay it. The site was great, it was user friendly. We did not encounter any problems login in and registering to their site. Hubby paid and it was just fast, the transaction was settled and we need to wait for 4-7 business days for our order to be delivered straight to our door post.

You will receive an email about the successful transaction with the complete information about the product, its tracking number so on. Hubby keeps on monitoring the track number code he has and in the site, it shows if the delivery has been dispatch already. It took 5 working days for us to receive our order. I was the one who accepted and signed for the delivery since hubby was at work at that time.

The item was placed in a box and inside it was the box of the digital camera bubble wrapped for extra protection. By the way, Letsbuy.com’s office is in Chennai and they used DTDC for their local delivery. It was my first time to hear such delivery company but anyway what is important is that the item was delivered in one piece and is in good condition.

The product that we ordered has 2 years warranty and we have kept it so that just in case our digital camera encountered some problem (I wish not) we can return it back for replacement. Olympus VG-120 Red Review

My hubby bought it online via Letsbuy.com and it took them 5 working days to deliver it through our doorstep. Now I won’t be reviewing about the delivery but the camera itself. I was really excited to receive the newly digital camera because our previous camera which is Kodak Easy Share C653 got soaked in the rain and it did not work anymore. Anyway, going back to the new camera which is lighter in weight, pigmented red in color and is very easy to navigate, I did charge it for one and a half hours only because the lamp light turned off which indicates that the camera is ready.

There are lots of advantages that I can see on using Olympus VG 120 Red. I like how clear my images are because it is 14 mega pixels. I am not a professional photographer but I have a passion to take pictures and learn more about photography and this camera will be the basic or fundamental of understanding ISO, Shutter speed and Aperture. I like how they have incorporated such that even if I don’t own yet a DSLR, I can start with this one and start developing my skills in photography.

Olympus VG-120 Red can be zoomed 5x wide with 720p High density video recording and is slick and easy to carry. It comes with CD software that you can install in your pc to better understand the features of the camera which later on I will try and it has a free 4GB (Kingston) memory card aside from the pouch to protect the camera.

The free camera strap helps you to grip the camera since it is light so the tendency is that it may slip off your hand, so just be careful of using such slim digital cameras. I really like this point and shoot Olympus VG-120 which has 26mm wide angle lens and is also good in taking group pictures and sceneries with 3 inches screen good for seeing the previews of what you have just captured.

It also offers 14 scene sample modes based on shooting situation like documents, beach & snow, pet, portrait, landscape, night scene, night+ portrait, sport, indoor, candle, self portrait, sunset, fireworks and cuisine. It also has 7 magic effects when you take pictures such as Pop art, pin hole, fish eye, drawing, soft focus, punk and sparkle. Who would forget panoramic style, it is also included here.

I also commend on the video recording which is also clear at 720p of course. I may now use it on my blog whenever I wanted to take pictures or video clips of the topics that I wanted to post. About the price, well we bought it at Rs 5,699 or almost Rs 5,700 which is also equivalent to $ 129.52 which I still find affordable and practical for digital camera enthusiasts.

The only thing which I notice is that the cable for charging is really short, but as for me it won’t be a big issue. I also experience some static shock when I first plug it to charge and at the same time I was viewing some pictures on our old memory card. My hand wasn’t wet but the metal on the side of the cam did really something on my finger that I really turned the cam off while charging it. Anyway, be extra careful and read the instructions on the manual book on how to take care of your digital camera. I will rate this camera 8 out of 10 as the highest.
