Drapolene Cream

I have been searching for the best cream for diaper rash as my little one was having this problem for quite some time. He is prone to such because he perspires a lot on that area. So the sweat glands produce there and I also find it hard to look for diapers that will absorb wetness, but makes the skin as dry as possible.

Anyway, not because I have to look and change the diaper, but also I have to find out a cream that will help his skin to not feel irritated. Drapolene cream was advice by my brother so I looked for it in the market and tried.

It was never cheap at all. Most of these anti-diaper rash creams are pretty expensive, but I have to give it a try. It says anti-bacterial and helps even adult skin that was also using adult diapers. Aside from another promise of Drapolene cream that it is good for minor wounds and burns, I am only interested to keep that skin rash away.

It took two days to notice the rash to dry, but it keeps on appearing again after a week. I think that the skin of my son was not fully satisfied for this creams’ solution. Probably Drapolene will work better for prevention and not just for curing process.

Despite the fact that I have changed diapers a lot of times to keep the skin rash go away, this cream would assist me to help solve or stop the skin rash. But sadly, it did not work well for my son. Just don’t take my word for it. Consult your physician or pediatrician first before using this cream. Creams may vary also and will depend based on your child’s skin reaction too. Always be safe than to be sorry.

Sweet Baby Supreme Comfort Diaper

I bought this diaper for my little one because it was just cheap for the price of only $2.94 for 22 pieces. I use this for his day time change because it was just light and not for long use. When it comes to skin protection, it can only hold a regular wee wee for two to three as the maximum absorption level of the diaper.

What I don’t understand is the wetness indicator which does not take effect or change in color even if the diaper is soaked and wet. For me, putting the wetness indicator is useless and the promised protection is a lie because you can’t use it for long hours. So when my baby sleeps at night or we go out, I don’t use this diaper. 

So why did I buy this product? Well, as I have said, if you are just at home and you can attend to your baby and change the diaper after three hours, then this diaper will really save something especially if your budget is really tight. Yes, this is quantity over quality. If you don’t have any budget for a quality diaper, then this is for you.

Good thing using Sweet Baby Supreme Comfort diaper is that your baby’s skin won’t get irritated or diaper rash as the skin gets to breathe easily using this product. But don’t forget that this diaper is not for long usage so after three to four hours, you need to change it.

Ponds’ Acne Clear White Multi-Action Facial Foam Plus Scrub

This is what I have been using for the past three months now ever since I came back in the Philippines for a vacation. I have oily skin with casual breakouts and so I decided to look for a product which will help me solve my skin problem. My niece was using this product and so I tried it and was satisfied because it does help remove excess oil and then it cleans my face thoroughly making it soft and smooth after wash.

The good thing is that this product of Ponds does not leave my skin so dry. It is just mild and gentle to use, especially if you have sensitive skin. The herbal clay inclusions to Ponds Acne clear white is just perfect to absorb the oil and remove it once you rinse off your face.

The best part I can say is that it is affordable and economical which is $1.72 for 50 g tube size. The tube is easy to control that you can really squeeze it all out till the last drop. Facial scrub is just light and you can use this wonderful product on a daily basis without getting your skin irritated as the micro beads included in Pond’s Acne Clear White will be okay to handle it. Although just be gentle on cystic acne as you don’t need to scrub that area.

If I have pimple breakouts, this is the best facial foam and cleanser for me as it will help to remove my pimples in three days, well of course that is because of using this product plus other beauty regimens I use to keep my skin clear. But I can honestly say that Ponds Acne Clear 10-in 1 Facial Foam plus Scrub is the perfect product to keep my skin oil free and pimple free. I highly recommend this product for those who also have issues with skin breakouts and very oily skin.

GlutaMax Light and Tight Feminine Wash

I got curious about trying out Glutamax Light and Tight Feminine wash as it promises a lot.  Obviously, skin lightening was one of it then next would be skin firming, cooling effect, moisturizing the skin and daily protection.

But sad to say that they fail when it comes to cooling sensation and daily protection against itchiness. Anyway, they already said that consult a doctor when skin irritation occurs and such. But maybe skin firming will just take effect if that will be continuous usage for more than a month. Since I am just using the product for two weeks now, I will still give it time to prove about skin firming. But I would say Glutamax kept its promise a bit on the lightening effect and moisturizing the skin.

When it comes to the scent, it is just a general so-so brand, not overpowering, not fruity or floral scented. Just mild and gentle but you will  get annoyed on squeezing the gel out of the bottle as the gel bounces back inside like it got sucked up again. Wish they would do something better about the bottle, maybe a tube is better to keep the product.

The price is just affordable for that 50 ml. bottle which is only $1.55. But I can say that other competitors are cheaper and is also promising the same thing which will give Glutamax a hard time to lead as I think that I may not buy this product again if you ask me. I will just finish my 50 ml. bottle and that’s it.
